
My name is Naomi (she/her) and I am a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
I use a warm, compassionate, and an authentic approach in the therapy space and place value on creating a strong connection and trust with individuals that I work with so you feel comfortable sharing about your life.
In sessions, I balance structure and guidance with a flexibility for you to focus on what is important to you.
As a Psychologist with experience working within the Emergency Services, I have developed a particular interest in trauma and as such I work from a trauma-informed practice.
My primary therapeutic models I draw from are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I tailor each session and interaction to you.
I aim to teach psychological strategies to manage emotions, disengage from unhelpful beliefs about yourself, others and the world and recognise your values.
